David W. Dube, MSA, MST

David W. Dube, MSA, MST is an experienced financial professional, educator, consultant and
author whose career has spanned across the fields of accounting, taxation, investment
management, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and continuing and corporate financial
education.

Dave is the founder and president of a seminar, publishing and media company that provides
continuing, corporate and executive education programs for certified public accountants,
attorneys, licensed professionals and para-professionals. He also serves as a principal of a tax
preparation, audit and consulting practice serving individuals and business entities with
particular emphasis on tax compliance matter and IRS defaults and deficiencies.

Earlier in his career, Dave held senior leadership roles within financial services, investment
advisory, corporate finance, insurance and mutual fund organizations. He has worked with
publicly-traded companies on matters involving mergers and acquisitions, accounting policies
and procedures, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and financial strategy and
management. His background includes serving on the Boards of Directors of companies traded
on the American Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ Stock Market as well as serving as
Chairman of the Audit Committee for each company.

Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in taxation
from Suffolk University as well as a master’s degree in accounting from Bentley University. He
ha practiced as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida, Massachusetts and New
Hampshire and has developed and taught numerous professional education programs covering
accounting, auditing, financial reporting and taxation.

His current writings focus on making complex financial and tax information mor understandable
and useful. In Uber & Lyft Driving and the Entrepreneur, Dave provides ridesharing drivers and
independent business owners with practical guidance on tax planning and savings, deductions,
mileage, vehicle expenses, home office costs and financial recordkeeping requirements.
